To give this some context, just $43 is sufficient to provide a week's worth of food to someone facing food insecurity. The stark contrast between these figures is a testament to the scale of the challenge we're resolved to address.

In the USA, up to 38 million people are caught in the grip of food poverty, underscoring the sobering enormity of the crisis we're fervently striving to alleviate. These statistics highlight the urgent necessity for our innovative, digital-first approach and the transformative potential it carries.

We created Equality Floss with an ambitious vision: to substantially alleviate food insecurity across the USA. Our mission? To redefine what it means to be a food bank, transcending traditional models. As a commercial social enterprise, we provide an ethical channel for businesses of all sizes to recruit staff through our ground-breaking 'Pay What You Want or Nothing at All' model. 

Our goal is to harness the substantial potential of the $212 billion recruitment industry and direct 51% of our net profits back into the community. These funds are deployed to provide food, clothing, hygiene products, and more to individuals throughout the USA who are navigating difficult times. 
 
The Role 
 
We are actively seeking a dedicated and visionary Sales Representative to oversee our operations throughout the entirety of the US. This role offers the unique opportunity to exclusively offer our unique Pay What You Want or Nothing at All recruitment service to businesses. The representative can leverage their existing contacts or make use of our Apollo account to identify potential leads. As the primary point of contact for our clients, the representative's capacity to create a strong first impression is vital. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone with an existing network of business contacts, providing them the chance to introduce a truly innovative and beneficial recruitment service to their connections. 
 
Responsibilities 
 

• Generate leads through a variety of channels including, but not limited to, online research, networking, and cold outreach. 

• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients. 

• Reach out to potential clients to assess their needs and how Equality Floss can meet those needs. 

• Use your understanding of our mission and services to effectively communicate the benefits of working with Equality Floss to potential clients. 

• Manage and track your work using necessary sales management tools. 

 
 

 

What’s in it for you? 
 
As a commission-only role, you'll receive a 25% commission on what you generate, allowing your earning potential to scale with your ambition. In addition to and as a thank you for joining a start-up, you will also receive 25% of all repeat business for the next 6 months.
